We see a need to connect the virtual world with the real world in a useful and reliable way so we can solve problems that have never been solved. hence there is a need to have a protocol for how we are connecting NFTs to connected devices in the real world

What is CTNFT (Connected Tangible NFT)?

CTNFT (Connected Tangible NFT) It is a new version of NFT that is connected with Tangible Smart Products(TSP)(Ex. smart shoes, smart homes, any wearable or IoT product). Metadata is stored and exchanged between the NFT and the TSP. The metadata could be any information, such as history, state, story, status, usage, brand, location...etc data of the TP or NFT, which is collected in a reliable and verifiable way. The Tangible Product should be equipped with means of connectivity, such as but not limited to BLE, WiFI, LTE/5G, to transfer the data to the chain where the NFT is stored to update the metadata. It also could be equipped with sensors, actuators, haptic motors, data storage, processing units, and other I/O interfaces. It could process, store, display the data coming from the CTNFT, or do other functions or commands such as optical or haptic feedback.

Both the NFT and the TP have attributes and properties. Attributes could be updated interchangeably while the TP and the NFT are being used, hold and change. But the properties are immutable characteristics that are set by the creators.

Both the NFT and the TP must have a Type attribute set by the creator which will define whether they could be connected or not. They are connected only if they have the same value of the Type attribute.

One CTNFT could be connected to multiple Tangible Products(TP)

Use cases: For instance, there could be a CTNFT in a form of a shoe that is connected to a real smart shoe (or multiple ones) that has connectivity and various sensors and display, as well as haptic motors. The shoe could display the colors of the CTNFT that is changed in a game or the CTNFT could change its attributes based on the sensor data about the user's physical activity and behavior.
